"Compressor less Refrigerator Runs on Solar Power"

- The main objective of this project is to design a refrigeration system installed on wooden surface.
- The idea of cooling is based on peltier effect. as well as DC current flows through thermo-electric module, it generates a heat transfer and temperature difference across the ceramic substrate causing one side of the module to be cold and other side to be heat.
- It
has no compressor or condenser and no refrigerant is used.
- It has very compact size and less weight so it can be easily carried to the picnic or travelling.
- For better cooling we are using water circulation system.
- The main advantage is that it does not require
electricity, it runs on solar energy.
- It
can cool up to 10 to 15 degree Celsius.
- It is silent in operation .

Thermoelectric cooling module,Peltier device,TEC modules can be considered as a type of solid-state thermal energy pump, and due to its actual weight, size and the rate of reaction, it is very suitable to be used as part of the inbuilt cooling systems (due to limitation of space). With advantages such as quiet operation, shatter proof, shock resistance, longer useful life and easy maintenance, modern thermoelectric cooling module,peltier device,TEC modules have a wide range application in the fields of military equipments, aviation, aerospace, medical treatment, epidemic prevention, experimental apparatus, consumer products (water cooler, car cooler, hotel refrigerator, wine cooler, personal mini cooler, cool & heat sleep pad, etc).

"Automatic Railway Track Security System Using GSM"
Railways being the cheapest mode of transportation are preferred over he other means.As we all know many railways occurring at unmanned railway track due to the carelessness in manual operations or lack of workers.This project overcomes this problem using simple electronic components to automate the control of railway track.As a railway track breaks a message will send to the nearest station by GSM modem.

Working:The 12V DC is fed to 7805 regulator to fetch +5V regulated output.This regulated voltage is given to all the components to function properly.However,the modem power supply is +5V.This project is based on GSM modem infrastructure.So, as we send any SMS it goes through the GSM system.This message received by the SIM card used in GSM module.The format for sending this message is (#SMS Part here*). The starting string of the SMS is used as the password .As the password is matched, then the SMS arrival is assumed to be valid by the micro-controller otherwise, it ignores the SMS. On the basis of proper initiator and terminator the controller(AT Mega 168) decodes the SMS( # &* ).The GSM modem can be configured for sending an SMS also by configuring at using proper AT command. this feature of the modem has been used in this project.
This project Works in two modes: one in which the system is active in this mode if someone tries to turn on the vehicle, an alert massage to be sent to the registered user.In second mode, the user can turn on the vehicle without any alert.
The SMS arrival status etc properly displayed on LCD screen.proper LCD display ensured through the programming and the LCD interface design.All the configuration command of GSM modem (AT command), authorized mobile number to received SMS (at remote location) and controlling is done through the controller programming means, controller controls all this process as per the program.the interface between micro-controller and the GSM is through UART communication which is serial communication protocol.

"Interactive Wheel Chair"
The main purpose of designing such system is to build a non-complex,non-expensive system that can be added to a normal power wheel chair to augment the navigation ability of the user and ensuring a safe journey.It enables a disable person to move around independently,using a touch panel and a voice recognition application which is interfaced with motors.The prototype of the wheelchair is built using a micro-controller, chosen for it's low cost,in addition to it's versatility and performance.A camera mounted on the chair for real time obstacle avoidance.The system has been designed and implemented in a cost effective way so that if our project is commercialized the needy users in developing countries will benefit from it.
Touch panel:Use of touch panel is very much user friendly and requires very less muscles movement from the user.It uses infra-red touch panel technology which is based upon infra-red light.In this technology it uses an array of photo-diodes with corresponding photo sensors on the opposite edges.These diode pair establish an optical grid across the screen.Any object that touches the screen breaks the optical grid lines that cross the touch point,causing drops in the corresponding photo sensors output signals.these drops indicate the touch point co-ordinates.Rather than simultaneously establishing all grid lines, I-R screen controller typically scan through the array.
Working of touch panel:The touch screen is used as input device so to monitor the vehicle the user should press the proper place of touch panel.After that the data can be send to micro-controller and it process and give instruction to motor to move in different directions.By using this embedded technique they can control the movement of their wheel chair which was previously controlled by a person.Now the patient can control the vehicle by touching on the touch panel.During operation the user introduces visible location destinations using a touch panel that display a real time re-construction of scenario in front of the wheel chair(user interface).The user commands are then converted into intermediate goals for the autonomous navigation technology.
Wheel Chair mechanism:The wheel chair used in this project is a rare wheel drive system powered by two permanent magnet DC motors.Rare wheel drive is traditional and most popular power wheel chair style.They are generally faster than front wheel models.The wheel chair used in this project is a low-end power model which has a light frame that is suitable for indoor use.

Applications:
- The main aim of this project is to design wheel chair for patients which is operated through touch screen.
- The device helps the disables to reach their destinations through pre-defined path in the indoor system.
- According to this project we can implement a system in which a vehicle direction can be controlled with respect to the commands given by the user through touch panel.
- Use of touch panel enables less muscles movement and less muscular pressure than the self propelled wheel chairs which are being used from ages.
Ergonomics:It is the science in which the posture on the chair decides the behavior of the person.This chair is ergonomically designed.The design of the chair is concealed taking into cognizance.Ergonomics is concerned with the 'fit' between the user,equipment and their environment.

"Mobile Operated Landmine Detecting Robot"
This system uses the Global Positioning System (GPS) tracking technology in combination with Global System for mobile (GSM) technology. An integrated system employing latest tracking techniques using satellite receiver in the form of GPS Modem, integrated with a robotic vehicle can be used to detect the exact location of metal in the field. Then the GSM module transmits the received data to the authorized Mobile user. Main purpose of this project is to detect landmines by using a GPS enabled remotely controlled robot. The technology was successfully demonstrated before the paramilitary forces and other security agencies of the country
specifications:
- It is password protected system , that is being used for the authentic person who can only operate this ROBOT, because of the security purpose.
- It can be operated from remote distance through a mobile phone ,it is also equipped to take images along with latitude and altitude to demonstrate the precised location.
- It can properly work under the temperature range upto 360 degree celcius as well.
- A wireless camera is connected with this robot which is interlinked with the GPS system so it is capable of sending the images of the location at the user mobile phone.
- It is capable of detecting explosive material at the place of incident and also can is capable of capturing the pictures of the exact location where it has detected the exlposive material.
- This Robot can detect the material thar are tending to explode or something inflammable material under 3-4 feets.

"ELECTRONIC SPEAKING GLOVE FOR
SPEECHLESS : A TONGUE TO A DUMB"

Electronic speaking glove designed to facilitate an easy communication through synthesized speech for the benefit of speechless patient.Generally a speechless person communicate through sign language which is not understood by the majority of people.This project is designed to solve this problem.Gestures of finger of a user of this glove will be converted into synthesized speech to convey an audible message to other.
The glove is internally equipped with multiple flex sensors that are made up of "bend-sensitive resistance elements".For each specific gestures internal flex sensors produce a proportional change in resistance of various elements.The processing of this information sends a unique set of signals to the AVR (Advance Virtual RISC) microcontroller which is pre-programmed to speak desired sentences.
The aim and objectives of this project includes:

SMS Based Canal / Pipeline Water Management System
In
this we have checked out the working of CANAL / PIPELINE BASED WATER MANAGEMENT
SYSTEM with the help of GSM infrastructure & other electronic components.
By
using this system one can checked out the water level of canal by sending a
single massage, and can turn on/off water flow by sending another massage.
The 12 V DC is
fed to 7805 regulator to fetch +5v regulated output. This regulated voltage is
given to all the components to function properly. However, the modem power
supply is +12V.
The idea behind this project is to
use the existing GSM infrastructure. So,
all the operations involve the GSM
system also. As we send any SMS, it goes through the GSM system. Any sent SMS
can be received if we use a SIM card and GSM module. To operate any GSM modem,
we have to use the AT commands to operate them. For example, if any SMS arrives
the GSM modem sends the serial data in ASCII format. We can read these data if
we connect the modem with the serial port of the microcontroller at the baud
rate of 9600. As the microcontroller comes to know that a SMS has been arrived,
it can sent a proper AT command to read the SMS. The reading of SMS returns the
mobile no of sender, the time and much more information. We have to select the
SMS part of the message. The starting string of the SMS is used as the
password. As the password is matched, then the SMS arrival is assumed to be
valid by the microcontroller otherwise, it ignores the SMS. Here the starting
character is the ‘#’ and terminating character is ‘*’. To control the water
supply, here we have user three water pumps. We can turn on/off any pump by
sending a proper SMS hence we can always control the water level of canal.
Additionally we can read the water level also by sending a proper SMS to the
system.

specifications of the system:
- It can be used for Canal Water Management as well as Irrigation purpose.
- User can operate motor and can check the water level in tankers from very larger distance same as you massage your relative from one place to another place
- Since it is based on GSM infrastructure so it can be operated from larger distance wherever network is available.
- The advantage of this system is that it will send you an acknowledgement massage at the mobile number of user which is already registered.
- The modem send you the massage regarding to the water level itself when water level move from one level to the next.
- This system is able to operate more than one pump at a time.
