     "Compressor less Refrigerator  Runs on Solar Power"

  • The main objective of this project is to design a refrigeration system installed on wooden surface.
  • The idea of cooling is based on peltier effect. as well as DC current flows through thermo-electric module, it generates a heat transfer and temperature difference across the ceramic substrate causing one side of the module to be cold and other side to be heat.
  • It has no compressor or condenser and no refrigerant is used. 
  • It has  very compact size and less weight  so it can be easily carried to the picnic or travelling.
  • For better cooling we are using water  circulation system. 
  • The main advantage is that it does not require electricity, it runs on solar energy. 
  • It can cool up to 10 to 15 degree Celsius.

  • It is silent in operation . 

















 Analysis of its performance in different condition has been carried out with this prototype.







Temperature maintenance through the thermoelectric effect 
Thermoelectric cooling module,Peltier device,TEC modules can be considered as a type of solid-state thermal energy pump, and due to its actual weight, size and the rate of reaction, it is very suitable to be used as part of the inbuilt cooling systems (due to limitation of space). With advantages such as quiet operation, shatter proof, shock resistance, longer useful life and easy maintenance, modern thermoelectric cooling module,peltier device,TEC modules have a wide range application in the fields of military equipments, aviation, aerospace, medical treatment, epidemic prevention, experimental apparatus, consumer products (water cooler, car cooler, hotel refrigerator, wine cooler, personal mini cooler, cool & heat sleep pad, etc).
